Going HOT🔥 on our platform is a huge achievement for an artist, as it means one or more of their social or streaming channels has grown exponentially in a short amount of time. But some artists manage to sustain this growth over a longer period, racking up a Hot Streak.
Indie pop singer-songwriter THE BLOSSOM is on a ten day Hot Streak following the release of their EP ‘97 BLOSSOM’. Since the EP dropped, THE BLOSSOM’s total Spotify followers have grown by 35% thanks to editorial playlist placements in the likes of All New Indie (1.1m) and Anti Pop (585k followers) among others.
In addition to streaming success, THE BLOSSOM has grown their social platforms considerably since the release of the EP, with 15% growth on Instagram and 27% on YouTube, where their music videos have racked-up over 70k views over the past 30 days.
The EP - which was co-written and produced by members of Brockhampton - has also picked up coverage from tastemaker press outlets such as Uproxx and Travis Mills’ Apple Music show, helping to create hype around the EP’s launch.
Back in February, THE BLOSSOM featured on Brockhampton’s In Focus YouTube series in a video that now has over 75k views. One of the last artists Brockhampton profiled on their YouTube was Dominic Fike, months before his single ‘3 Nights’ went on to become a worldwide hit, perhaps the same fate will be in store for THE BLOSSOM...
