The Brief

Instrumental was tasked with driving awareness for Vertigo Music, a brand new app that lets its users share their favourite music, beat-for-beat in real time. Coupled with the ability for live commentary across several mediums including video, photo and audio, the app connects people all over the world through the universal language of music.

Approach

We executed a three week campaign utilising social music influencers to be early adopters of the app. We leveraged their social reach to promote Vertigo, and galvanised their audiences to download the app and join the influencers as they delivered their very own live streaming sessions.

Results

The campaign inspired significant brand awareness among a targeted audience of music lovers, key consumers for the brand. Total social engagement reached 440,000, with much positive sentiment generated. Following the success of this campaign, Instrumental continue to work with Vertigo on a long-term basis to further establish the app in the music space.
